Born in Liverpool and raised in Glasgow, Jamie has been involved in music from a very early age. Starting off in school choirs and productions, Jamie then began playing brass instruments in school and district orchestras, starting with the tenor horn, moving on to the french horn and eventually ending up on the trumpet. It wouldn't be until the age of 15, when Jamie received a bass guitar for his birthday that his passion for music, in particular, songwriting and performing would be taken to a whole new level.Graduating with honours in Music from The University Of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Jamie moved to London in 2009 to begin a career as a professional musician. With no job and no home, initially the move to London was pretty rocky, but eventually Jamie landed himself a job in the famous Denmark Street at Macaris Musical Instruments, selling guitars and all manner of musical instruments.
