RYKHO announces his new single in collaboration with Ruff Loaderz, titled “Something To Believe In”.
“RYKHO” is a Canadian dance artist who has been making waves in the global club scene over the last few years. His first four singles “Can’t Do Loving You”, “Without You”, “Whatcha Gonna Do” and “Something’s Going On” made an impact by hitting top 20 in Beatport and Traxsource charts and claiming a number of top 10 positions in the UK Music Week Club charts. His 2022 single release, “Something’s Going On” in collaboration with Ruff Loaderz peaked at #3 in the Music Week Commercial Pop Chart, and “Phoenix” followed with another top 10 chart position in 2023.
RYKHO was born in Manila and moved to the Canadian west coast at an early age. Growing up he gravitated towards the stage as a performer and later honed his vocal skills with one of Vancouver's finest coaches Sandi Siemins (Michael Bublé). Over time he developed his vocal style being influenced by acts such as Justin Timberlake, Usher, and the Backstreet Boys. In 2015, under the guise "Friedrick Ryan", he first broke into the Dance Music scene collaborating with acclaimed club remixers DASCO and Eric Kupper hitting top 20 in the Music Worx International chart.
In 2019, RYKHO joined the talented team at Audiofreaks to evolve his sound further in the house realm. With the successes of his previous singles, RYKHO has firmly established his presence in the dance scene as a premier artist.
Ruff Loaderz have featured in the top 10 dance, club and pop charts in the UK and US with support from BBC Radio 1, Kiss FM and Capital FM, with 200 remixes under their belt and an impressive roster remixing the likes of Rihanna, Beyonce, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Carly Rae Jason, Little Mix & Missy Elliott to name a few.
RYKHO’s latest offering ‘Something To Believe In’ with Ruff Loaderz marks a progression in RYKHO’s sound with incredible remixes by Journey By A DJ and 2 Sub Dude, solidifying the single as an anthem of the summer.
