In their words
… they are collaborative, creative, trustworthy, professional, reliable, hard-working and a pleasure to work with. OK, they might have a bit of dodgy dress-sense but that’s OK ’cos you can close your eyes and just listen to the great music they create.
For a series like The Big Reunion, getting the music right was paramount to the success of the show. … It was a privilege to work with such an amazing pool of music directors and music producers. Along with their enthusiasm, work ethic and a smile, they also brought a “nothing is a problem” attitude. I would not hesitate to work with these guys again.
Audiofreaks created our titles music and stings, as well as working with us on other music used in the series, including backing tracks for a special Big Reunion performance. These guys are so full of infectious enthusiasm, excitement and a determination to deliver the best.

Producer and managing director
Half English and half Finnish, Matt Meyers has spent 30 years in the music business, building companies and finding new ways to work as the industry changes. His work covers artist development, A&R, publishing, promotion, television music direction, studio ownership, brand representation and international licensing.
As a producer and DJ, under several aliases, he has worked on records for artists including Nicole Scherzinger, Chaka Khan, CeCe Peniston, Karen Harding, Herb Alpert, Keri Hilson, Allegra, Lindsay Lohan, Crystal Waters, Robin S, Deborah Cox, Snow, Judge Jules, Paul Harris and Noelia.
The British rave scene took hold, and so did acid house, garage and hardcore on the pirate stations. Matt spent every hour he could in studios learning to produce, in record shops, and behind a pair of Technics 1210s, and learned the contracts side of the business early.
He went on to work as a talent scout for Mega Records in Denmark Street, Soho, in the year it signed Ace of Base’s All That She Wants, and scouted for Warner and Sony Music. Through the decade he ran monthly raves outside London, held a residency at Ministry of Sound on the Frisky nights for Decorum, guested on Judge Jules’ Saturday night Kiss FM show and on Graham Gold’s, and promoted events at many of London’s best-known venues.
Matt and his brother Warren took over The Hit Factory recording complex at London Bridge, the studios made famous by Stock, Aitken and Waterman, and with Michael Loney, formerly of Virgin Records, redeveloped it into a 6,000 square foot studio and creative complex. Producers including ESP from Murlyn Music, Julian Napolitano, Scott Mac, Andy Manston, Simon Langford and Tony Briscoe moved in.
There he met Dale Askew, who became the brothers’ business partner. Matt and Warren wrote and produced Hypnotic Erotic Games as Soulshaker, No. 1 on the Music Week Upfront Club Chart in 2005, and set up Audiofreaks Music.
ITV Studios engaged Matt as music director and music producer for ITV2’s The Big Reunion. His teams recorded and produced Liberty X, Blue, Five, A1, B*Witched, Atomic Kitten, Honeyz, Eternal, 911, Damage and 3T. Audiofreaks worked on ITV2’s award-winning, BAFTA-nominated series The Big Reunion.
With Tony Adams he built Galactic Studios, a multi-studio complex in Kent, where the team signed Scott Stoddart and helped develop him as a producer for K-pop and J-pop. Fila and Russell Athletic engaged him for their brand-to-music strategy, and he set up a label deal with Tommy Boy Records in the US.
He set up publishing partnerships with Nichion Music in Japan and Music Cube in South Korea. With the team he made title music and stings for Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, recorded with Audiofreaks artist Jenna Donnelly, and music for ITV1’s Surprise Surprise, ITV2’s Peter Andre Show, E4’s Road to Ibiza and ITV1’s Meet the Parents. He began long-term management and artist-development work with Allegra, alongside Chris Herbert, and opened Audiofreaks Studios in Kent.
Audiofreaks Music’s writers and producers have secured releases with K-pop and J-pop acts including ITZY, IVE, NCT DREAM, OH MY GIRL, SixTONES and MISAMO. Deborah Cox’s Let the World Be Ours Tonight, written and produced by Warren with Jenna Doyle and A&R’d by Matt, went to No. 1 on Billboard Dance Club Songs in the US in 2017.
With Gianluca Pizzorno in Los Angeles he set up Tiësto’s remix of Allegra’s Round & Round. Matt and the team were music producers on Netflix’s Dance 100, produced by Studio Lambert, and secured the debut single for the new line-up of Menudo.
